Burt Hayes, President of Hayes Luxe Homes and a graduate of The Citadel Military College in Charleston, South Carolina, brings over 30 years of hands-on expertise in residential construction, luxury homebuilding, and high-end renovations.
Since entering the Naples market in 2019, Burt has built a reputation for excellence and strong relationships with trusted trades and subcontractors. These partnerships allow him to secure competitive pricing, maintain smooth scheduling, and deliver an elevated client experience.
While Burt is widely known for managing ultra-luxury residences—including custom estates and waterfront homes in the multi-million-dollar range—he proudly brings the same level of attention, respect, and quality to homes of all values, including charming mid-market houses, townhomes, and condos.
One of Burt’s most notable career accomplishments is his role in the whole-town build of Alys Beach, Florida, where he was honored with The Alys Award for exemplifying the community’s core values of Accountability, Commitment, Integrity, Passion, Respect, and Unity. Before relocating to Naples, he co-owned a firm recognized as a Top Three Builder in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he served as builder and developer of custom and spec homes.
Today, Burt leads Hayes Luxe Homes with a philosophy rooted in honesty, craftsmanship, and genuine care for clients. His leadership ensures that every project—large or small, remodel or new build—is completed to an exceptional standard and feels beautifully personal.
Penelope Hayes, Vice President of Hayes Luxe Homes, brings refined expertise in project management, estimating, trade supervision, and client relations—ensuring every client experiences clear communication, a smooth process, and a beautifully executed project from start to finish.
Penelope’s build philosophy is rooted in authenticity rather than trends. She believes exceptional homes begin with materials that are artisan-made and that have traceable origin and story. To that end, she sources truly custom products—prioritizing American-made materials whenever possible, while also thoughtfully importing from regions and countries renowned for mastery of a particular craft or material.
Before co-founding Hayes Luxe Homes, she built a career as a television host for an ABC News affiliate and appeared on The Dr. Phil Show and other national platforms.
Penelope brings valuable assets and experience to to the homebuilding process—ensuring clients feel supported, inspired, and confident at every step.
